De Bruyne remains at Wolfsburg - no deal with City yet, says Allofs

 Wolfsburg have not reached an agreement
with Manchester City on the sale of Belgium international Kevin de
Bruyne, the Bundesliga club's sports director Klaus Allofs said
Thursday.
"There is no agreement with Manchester City," Allofs told reporters.
Allofs confirmed Wolfsburg had been in talks with the Premier League
club following reports City were prepared to pay 74 million euros (54
million pounds/83.5 million dollars) for the midfielder.
Allofs said he hoped 24-year-old De Bruyne, who was recently voted
Germany's footballer of the year, would remain a Wolfsburg player.
"At the present moment he is a Wolfsburg player," Allofs said.

Spanish midfielder Thiago extends Bayern Munich contract

Spanish international midfielder Thiago has extended
his contract with Bayern Munich to 2019, the Bundesliga champions
said Thursday.
Thiago, 24, joined Bayern from Barcelona in 2013 and has added two
more years to his previous deal which was due to expire in 2017.
"We are happy that Thiago has decided to stay with Bayern long-term,"
chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club homepage. "He is young
and an important player for the future of the club."
Thiago has made 41 competitive appearances for Bayern but missed more
than a year of action due to cruciate ligament injuries before making
his comeback in April this year.
